Traditionally known as a Diegui (叠柜), this type of cabinet is made from separate sections stacked vertically, allowing the pieces to be moved and arranged more easily. The front features detailed carved panels with gilt accents depicting traditional Chinese scenes and auspicious motifs.

Originally used as a wedding dowry cabinet, pieces like this were made to store clothing, linens, valuables, and personal belongings. Today, its tall proportions and multiple storage compartments make it equally practical as a statement storage cabinet for a bedroom, living room, or entrance hall.
