A distinctive Chinese antique storage cabinet from Linhai, China, crafted from cypress wood approximately 100 years ago. The cabinet is especially notable for its richly carved door panels, featuring traditional Chinese decorative scenes and detailed motifs across all four doors.

The original wood stain and naturally developed patina have been carefully preserved by our craft master in China, retaining the depth of colour, surface variation, and age marks that have developed over the past century. Rather than refinishing the cabinet, the restoration focuses on maintaining as much of its authentic character as possible.

Behind the four carved doors, the cabinet offers generous interior shelving together with smaller internal drawers, while three larger drawers at the base provide additional practical storage. Its substantial size makes it suitable as a dining room cabinet, linen cupboard, bedroom storage, or a statement storage piece in a living room.

The combination of detailed original carving, aged cypress wood, and preserved finish makes this a particularly characterful example of Linhai-style Chinese antique furniture.
