A tall Chinese antique storage cabinet from Shandong, China, crafted from solid elm wood approximately 100 years ago and carefully hand-refurbished in a rich antique red lacquer finish.

The cabinet features two full-length doors opening to a spacious interior with shelving and two small inner drawers, together with two larger drawers at the base. Its practical layout provides generous storage for clothing, linens, tableware, books, or everyday household items.

The antique red lacquer has been applied to retain the character of the original elm wood beneath, allowing the natural grain, age marks, and subtle surface variations to remain visible. Traditional metal fittings and simple rounded legs complete the classic Shandong-style form.

With a width of just 97 cm, this antique Chinese cabinet offers substantial vertical storage without taking up too much wall space, making it suitable for a bedroom, dining room, living room, or entrance hall.
