A rare Chinese antique sideboard from Dongbei, China, crafted from pine wood approximately 90 years ago. Unlike many old storage pieces that have later been adapted for modern use, this piece was originally made as a sideboard and remains in its original form with no modification.

The cabinet retains its original painted decoration and original colour, with natural fading, surface wear, and age marks developed over decades. The original brass hinges have also been preserved, adding another authentic detail to the piece.

With a generous 155 cm width, the sideboard provides practical enclosed storage while offering a long surface for displaying lamps, artwork, ceramics, or decorative objects. It works particularly well in a dining room, living room, entrance hall, or along a larger wall where both storage and visual character are needed.

Its original construction, painting, colour, and hardware make this an increasingly difficult type of Chinese antique furniture to find in such an intact condition.
