A long Chinese antique console table from Shaoxing, China, crafted from catalpa wood approximately 100 years ago and preserved in its original wood patina.

The table features a woven rattan top, and finely carved decorative details along both sides of the apron. Its slender legs and openwork carving give the piece a lighter appearance despite its impressive 212 cm length.

With a depth of only 41 cm, this antique Chinese console table is particularly suitable for a long entrance hall, dining room, living room, or behind a sofa. The generous top provides ample space for lamps, artwork, ceramics, or decorative objects, while the two drawers offer discreet storage for smaller household items.

The naturally aged catalpa wood retains its original colour variation, surface wear, and patina, giving this piece the character and depth found in authentic Chinese antique furniture.
