A newly made Chinese console table from Linhai, China, crafted from elm wood and featuring three drawer fronts adapted from old carved wood panels.

The reclaimed drawer panels retain their original carved scenes and aged character, bringing authentic decorative detail into the clean, newly made structure. Each drawer front has its own variation in carving, texture, and surface wear, making the piece feel individual rather than newly reproduced.

With a slim depth of only 38 cm, this Chinese console table is easy to place in an entrance hall, living room, dining room, or behind a sofa. Three drawers provide useful storage for keys, documents, and smaller household items, while the 123 cm top offers space for lamps, artwork, flowers, or decorative objects.

Available in  antique black lacquer , the finish gives the same carved drawer panels a distinctly different character while retaining the traditional Chinese detailing.
