Antique Mini Cabinet Repurposed from Fujian-Style Bed

This pair of antique miniature cabinets carries a quiet charm and an extraordinary backstory. They were originally part of a traditional Fujian-style canopy bed — carefully extracted and repurposed after the bed could no longer be restored.
Each piece is made from fir wood with an aged red lacquer finish. Unlike others with painted motifs, these feature clean, unembellished doors paired with original metal hardware, giving them a minimal, elegant appearance. What makes them extra special is the single hand-carved floral panel on each side, a reminder of where they were once built into the bed frame — with the opposite side left plain as it was hidden inside the structure.
Price: THB 6,000.- each
Dimension (each): 27 W x 13 D x 40 H cm
Wood: Fir
Origin: Fujian, China
Age: 80 years
These understated yet meaningful cabinets make beautiful companions for altars, side tables, or collectors seeking a matched set with historical depth and subtle beauty.
