A Chinese antique low cabinet from Gansu, China, crafted from pine wood approximately 90 years ago. Originally used as a traditional rice storage container, the piece has been thoughtfully adapted into a practical storage cabinet while preserving its original painted details and naturally aged character.

The front retains its bold red, black, and gilt decoration, with visible wear and surface variation developed over decades. These original painted areas give the cabinet a distinctive character while reflecting its earlier use.

Behind the two doors are separate storage compartments with interior shelves, making the piece practical for books, media equipment, tableware, or other household items.

At 70 cm high, this antique Chinese cabinet is particularly well suited as a TV stand or low sideboard, offering a comfortable viewing height together with useful enclosed storage. Its 42 cm depth also makes it relatively easy to place along a living room or media wall.
