A newly made Chinese storage cabinet from Zhejiang, China, crafted from poplar wood and incorporating old carved wood panels into the front doors.

The cabinet combines a newly made structure with original carved details, including latticework and traditional motifs that give the piece more depth and character than a standard new cabinet. The dark antique-style finish helps tie the old and new elements together while allowing the carved panels to remain the main visual feature.

With a width of just 55 cm and a depth of 38 cm, this narrow Chinese cabinet is particularly practical for smaller spaces, hallways, bedrooms, or areas beside a doorway where a full-size cabinet may feel too large.

Inside, multiple shelves provide useful vertical storage for books, tableware, folded linens, or household items, while two lower drawers offer additional space for smaller belongings.
