A slim Chinese tea table, newly made in Zhejiang, China, from solid elm wood and finished in a dark antique-style lacquer. The drawer front has been created from an old carved wood panel, bringing original hand-carved detail and warm aged colour into the clean, newly made structure.

Its tall and narrow proportions make it easy to place beside a sofa, armchair, or daybed, or use as a compact display stand in an entrance hall or quiet corner. The upper drawer provides storage for small items, while the two open shelves can hold teaware, books, baskets, or decorative objects.

As each table incorporates an old carved panel, the carving pattern, aged finish, and small details may vary slightly from one piece to another. A practical piece of Chinese furniture that combines reclaimed craftsmanship with everyday function.
